This privacy policy (“Policy”) sets out how the Wyoming Cycling Foundation (“WOCF”) uses and protects the personal information you provide on the WOCF website (hereinafter, the “WOCF Site” or the “Site”).

WOCF is committed to protecting your privacy. Accordingly, any personally identifiable information provided by you to us when you use this Site shall be used in accordance with the conditions outlined in this Policy. You may also make donations via the Site, and may be asked to provide some of the information listed above, as well as credit card information, depending on the specific type of donation.

Any PII you provide is voluntary or is necessary for the identified purposes for which it is to be used. Sensitive PII is only collected if you affirmatively choose to provide it where applicable  You have no obligation to provide the information requested on any WOCF form, but the failure to do so can impact WOCF’s ability to consider or respond to your nomination, request, question, or other communication.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

WOCF takes your privacy very seriously. Accordingly, we agree that we will only use the information you provide for the following specific purposes: to improve the content and overall look and feel of our Site and services; to respond to your inquiries or requests for information; and to provide you messages unless you have opted out of receiving it.

We agree that we will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your PII with outside parties, except to provide services you’ve requested through us or to suppliers performing services for us, including for example, companies that host our data services, process payments, deliver communications on our behalf, fulfill our programs, operate apps or plug-ins on our behalf, or perform analytics (as described below).  We may also provide your PII in response to a validly-issued subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when necessary to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims made by you or on your behalf.  Our affiliates and third-party providers use any such PII and data you have provided in accordance with this Policy, may need PII to perform their functions, and may use this PII to contact you in the future to tell you about products or services we believe will be of interest to you (unless you have opted out of receiving it).  These companies are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any other purpose.

Finally, we agree that we will never use or share the PII provided to us by you in any way that violates or is otherwise unrelated to the means described in this Policy, without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Please note: No PII is collected with the cookies that we set. Accepting cookies while on the Site will not put the user at risk for marketing to other sites.

Web Statistics & Shared Data

We collect and use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement, and gather broad aggregate demographic information. IP addresses are not linked to PII.

From time to time, we may use non-identifiable aggregate information to better design our Site and to share with select advertising partners, sponsors, and/or affiliates. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our Site, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to personally identify those individuals.

This Site contains links to other third-party websites. Please be aware that WOCF does not claim any responsibility for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.
